Karl Charity presents a very warm and exciting showcase of jazz favourites from all corners of the jazz world. Having recently returned from performing in the French Alps, a fabulous singer, Karl celebrates and interprets the songs and music of Horace Silver, Chet Baker, Sammy Davis Jr, Mark murphy, “Frank” and more! Karl spent many years playing trumpet in show bands, pop bands and tours around the world. Then came the inevitable move from the “pit” to the stage. Karl has gained much popularity in the rarefied world of the male jazz singer, and looking forward to performing, “for the rest of my days”, music from the vast and rich library of beautiful jazz. Karl’s band is London based and has an album out called Calling Card, produced by Liane Carroll.
