About the Event

Spend a fabulous evening with Karl Charity and his band as they showcase new and exciting numbers, for the very first time, here at Toulouse. As a singer and accomplished trumpet/flugelhorn player, Karl has been celebrating the greats of Jazz and stage for years now. This new outfit and collaboration marks a new chapter in his musical expression and we can’t wait to introduce you. So join us for an an evening of progressive original jazz as well as some unexpected new arrangements.

THE BAND:

Karl Charity – vocals and trumpet

Liam Dunachie – acclaimed pianist, organist, and composer who has worked extensively on television and the West End, recently performing with Beverly Knight on her 2019 tour.

Misha Mullov-Abbado on bass, “Both his composing talents and his propulsive bass-playing are currently such hot UK jazz news” The Guardian

Scott Chapman on drums – who became the principle drummer for the National Youth Jazz Orchestra at just sixteen! Playing and touring with the band for 6 years, notably recording an album at Angel Studios and performing at the Albert Hall for Proms.
